I was never asked to dance in high school because I was too tall.

[My height] sometimes works against me. There have been actors who haven't been willing to work with someone three inches taller than them. But the thing about being tall is that as soon as you walk into a room, everyone knows it. You either shrink and hide or you throw your shoulders back and charge right in. I learned that charging felt more comfortable for me.
